About

Loma is an American indie band from Dripping Springs, Texas, formed in 2016 by singer and visual artist Emily Cross, multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Meiburg (of Shearwater) and producer-engineer Dan Duszynski. The three met when Cross Record opened for Shearwater on tour and quietly began a new collaboration. Their sound - indie rock laced with ambient textures, field recordings and Cross's subtly pitch-shifted voice - spans three Sub Pop albums: a self-titled debut (2018), Don't Shy Away (2020, featuring Brian Eno) and How Will I Live Without a Body? (2024).
