Kruidkoek is a Dutch garage-jazz band formed in 2012 at the conservatory in Zwolle. Their four members - all active in bands such as DeWolff, De Niemanders and Broken Brass - play an idiosyncratic blend of jazz, rock and improvisation laced with humour. Since 2019 they have regularly performed alongside spoken-word poet Joost Oomen, fusing punkjazz and poetry into one anarchic live act. Past stages include Paradiso, Melkweg and the Bimhuis, with tours reaching Cairo and Berlin.
