Glen Matlock (London, 1956) is the original bassist of the Sex Pistols and one of the principal architects of British punk. He co-wrote ten of the twelve tracks on the band's sole studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, including 'Anarchy in the UK' and 'Pretty Vacant'. After leaving in 1977 he formed the Rich Kids, pursued a prolific solo career, and has since played with artists ranging from Iggy Pop to Blondie.
