Gillian Anderson is an American-British actress who rose to international fame as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in The X-Files. She has since taken on a wide range of roles - from DSU Stella Gibson in The Fall and Margaret Thatcher in The Crown to sex therapist Jean Milburn in Sex Education - and remains active on stage. Her accolades include two Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes and four Screen Actors Guild Awards.
