Femke Smit is a Dutch jazz vocalist with a classical background - both her parents are opera singers. She specialises in Brazilian music, moving fluidly between bossa nova, choro and samba. Together with pianist Mike del Ferro she performs the programme Sintonia, featuring compositions by Jobim, Milton Nascimento and Chico Buarque.
