Early Moods are a doom/heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2015 by guitarist Eddie Andrade and vocalist Alberto Alcaraz. The five-piece draws on the legacy of Black Sabbath, Candlemass, and Witchfinder General, blending classic underground doom with the melodic sensibility of NWOBHM. Two albums on RidingEasy Records and relentless touring have earned them a strong reputation as one of the most dedicated doom acts on the US West Coast.
Early Moods released their third studio album Ready For The Grave on 18 September 2026 via RidingEasy Records, produced by Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Tool).
The review site Echoes and Dust published a review of Ready For The Grave on 2 September 2026, with the release date of 18 September 2026 at RidingEasy Records.
Early Moods toured in spring 2025 as support through North America together with Tribulation, Unto Others and Final Gasp.
In January 2025 the band announced a West Coast tour with Magick Potion, and was confirmed for the Freak Valley Festival in Germany in June 2025.
The second album A Sinner's Past was released on 8 March 2024 via RidingEasy Records.
