Deep Forest
Deep Forest brings their electronic world music to Amsterdam.
Deep Forest is a French music project founded in 1992 by Éric Mouquet and Michel Sanchez, who pioneered a style known as ethnic electronica by blending electronic beats with field recordings of indigenous music from Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Their debut album 'Deep Forest' (1992) broke internationally on the strength of 'Sweet Lullaby', and the follow-up 'Bohème' earned them the 1995 Grammy Award for Best World Music Album - the first French artists to receive that honour. Michel Sanchez departed in 2005, leaving Mouquet to carry the project forward on his own.
Deep Forest released the album 'Tree of Tranquility', their most recent studio work.
Deep Forest is currently active on tour through seven countries, with fourteen announced concerts.
New concert dates were added in the United Kingdom and Lithuania.
The next European shows are scheduled in Munich and Cologne.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
