Deborah Stratman is an American experimental filmmaker and visual artist whose work spans documentary, essay film and installation. Her films probe the connections between power, landscape and perception, drawing on sound, light and cosmological imagery. She teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her work has screened at festivals and institutions worldwide.
