Biita Houdei is the new project of singer-songwriter Lisa Houdei, previously known as LéPonds. Raised in a bicultural Persian family and now based in Woodstock, New York, she weaves her Persian heritage and American experiences into experimental folk. Her self-taught guitar style is unmistakably her own, and her songs shift between dreamy and intense, mixing joy and sorrow with a ritual quality. Her latest album is This Bed Was Made For Me.
