Be N!ce & Bleedroot
London punk band BE N!CE meets The Hague grunge collective Bleedroot. Absurdist humour, sharp social commentary and feminist grunge in one evening.
BE N!CE are a London-based punk band formed in late 2022 by Pol Mills (vocals), Emily Harris (bass), Alex McIntosh (drums), and Brett Lee (guitar). They blend punk with noise rock, hardcore, and nu-metal, wielding absurdist humour as a vehicle for sharp social commentary. After their debut EP WHERE AM I? (2025), they released their second, fan-funded EP IT'S GETTING HARDER in September 2026 - darker and more personal than anything before it. Over 80 shows across England, Germany, and Belgium, plus festival slots at Rebellion and Manchester Punk Festival, have cemented their reputation as one of the most explosive live acts in the British DIY punk scene.
The fan-funded second EP IT'S GETTING HARDER was released on 2 September 2026; reviewers describe it as darker and more personal than the debut EP.
BE N!CE released BUDDY as the final single for the EP - a chaotic noise-punk track that was named 'single of the week' by Loud Women.
On 1 August 2026, the band played in Utrecht (De Nijverheid) as part of their European summer tour.
In April 2026, BE N!CE opened the main stage of the Manchester Punk Festival for an audience of three to four hundred people - their biggest performance to date.
The debut EP WHERE AM I? was released in January 2025; ThePunkSite gave it five stars and RTE also covered the release.
