Bambounou, born Jérémy Guindo, is a Paris-based DJ and producer of French, Malian and Polish descent. His polyrhythmic techno and house draw on UK techno, IDM and tribal rhythms, filtered through a fascination with astrophysics and dystopian sci-fi. He rose to prominence on Modeselektor's 50Weapons label with the albums Orbiting (2012) and Centrum (2015), and now runs his own imprint Bambe. In 2026 he co-designed the RND synthesizer with Cyma Forma, presented at Superbooth in Berlin.
Cyma Forma released the RND-synthesizer, a hardware project that Bambounou co-developed: one button generates a completely new sound each time from more than four billion possible patches.
The RND-synthesizer was first presented at Superbooth 2026 in Berlin and went into pre-order for € 125 excluding VAT.
Bambounou released the Levantarse EP on his own label Bambe - his first solo work after the collaboration with Priori on the C.R.U.S.H. EP (2024).
Bambounou and Canadian producer Priori released the C.R.U.S.H. EP together via Bambe.
