About

Archspire are a technical death metal band from Vancouver, Canada, formed in 2007 under the name Defenestrated and renamed in 2009. They are known for extreme speed, surgical musicianship, and vocalist Oliver Rae Aleron's rapid-fire delivery - a combination that has made them one of the most talked-about acts in the genre. Their fourth album 'Bleed the Future' (2021) won the Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year. In 2026 they released their fifth record 'Too Fast to Die' as a fully independent release, funded through a Kickstarter campaign that raised nearly CAD 400,000.
