ANÚNA is an Irish choral ensemble founded in Dublin in 1987 by composer Michael McGlynn, who writes and arranges virtually all of the group's material. The choir blends medieval and traditional Irish music with contemporary polyphony, and rose to international prominence as the original choir of Riverdance (1994-1996), a collaboration that earned a Grammy Award. Since then ANÚNA has toured more than twenty countries and performed at venues including the BBC Proms and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
ANÚNA released the album Eilifð in February 2025, recorded in Iceland.
ANÚNA closed 2025 with the compilation Tochairm, an overview of the transcendent compositions of Michael McGlynn.
ANÚNA performed again in December 2025 an extensive Dutch tour under the name 'A Mystical Christmas', with concerts in Utrecht, Rotterdam, Hardenberg, Steenwijk, Veenendaal, Eindhoven, Emmen, Oosterhout, Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Middelburg.
For the first time, ANÚNA performed in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, on 20 December 2025.
ANÚNA won in February 2018 the Outstanding Ensemble category at the Annual Game Music Awards for their contribution to the soundtrack of Xenoblade Chronicles II.
