2000 and One is the alias of Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Dylan Hermelijn (born 9 February 1971), who pressed his first record at seventeen and has since become one of the most enduring figures in Dutch electronic music. In 1993 he co-founded the Amsterdam label 100% Pure with Sandy Hüner, a cornerstone of the underground dance world, and later launched several more imprints including Remote Area, Intacto and Moving Vibrations. His sets range from intimate tech-house clubs to festival crowds of 40,000, and he has presented a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and held a summer residency at Amnesia in Ibiza.
