About the venue

The Binnenhof is the historic seat of the Dutch government in The Hague, with parts of the complex dating back to the 13th century. Its centrepiece, the Ridderzaal, hosts the annual opening of parliament on Prinsjesdag. The viewpoint offers a striking panorama of the medieval facades reflected in the Hofvijver pond.
