Sociëteit de Kring is a private members' club for artists near the Leidseplein in Amsterdam, founded in 1934. Writers, painters, actors and other creatives have long gathered here to eat, drink and exchange ideas. The interior has a distinctly lived-in character that sets it apart from more formal clubs.
