About the venue

The Oranjehotel is the nickname prisoners gave to the Scheveningen prison, where thousands of resistance fighters and political detainees were held during the Second World War. Many were executed or deported from here. Today it functions as a national monument and museum dedicated to the history of occupation and resistance.
