About the venue

The Nationaal Holocaustmuseum in Amsterdam documents the persecution of Jews in the Netherlands during the Second World War. Housed in a former school building on the Weesperstraat, the site itself has a wartime history: Jewish children were held there before deportation. Reopened in 2024 after extensive renovation, the museum centres on personal stories of victims and survivors.
