Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ is Amsterdam's main concert hall for contemporary and experimental music, sitting right on the IJ waterfront next to Centraal Station. The glass-fronted building was designed by Danish architects 3XN and opened in 2005. It houses a large main hall, a smaller hall, and the Bimhuis - the city's renowned jazz venue - under the same roof.
