Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA) is one of Europe's leading theatre companies, based in the Stadsschouwburg on Leidseplein. Under director Ivo van Hove it built a strong international reputation, known for large-scale productions that are visually bold yet rooted in the text. The building houses several stages and regularly welcomes guest companies from the Netherlands and abroad.
