Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork is a memorial and education centre on the site of the former transit camp where, during the Second World War, more than 100,000 Jews, Roma and Sinti were held before being deported to extermination camps in the east. The grounds include a museum, reconstructed railway tracks and several monuments. The centre regularly hosts commemorations, lectures and temporary exhibitions.
