About the venue

The Groninger Museum is an art museum on the Verbindingskanaal, directly opposite Groningen's Central Station. The striking postmodern building, completed in 1994 and designed by Alessandro Mendini with a team of international architects, is as much an attraction as the collection inside. It covers art, design and fashion, ranging from old masters to contemporary work.
