Description was written before the event

New Light - De Ploeg is a completely renewed presentation of works from the Groninger Museum's collection, dedicated to De Ploeg, the artists' association founded in Groningen in 1918. The exhibition offers a fresh and deeper perspective on this renowned group.

About the venue: Groninger Museum

The Groninger Museum is an art museum on the Verbindingskanaal, directly opposite Groningen's Central Station. The striking postmodern building, completed in 1994 and designed by Alessandro Mendini with a team of international architects, is as much an attraction as the collection inside. It covers art, design and fashion, ranging from old masters to contemporary work.
