About the venue

The Grachtenmuseum tells the story of Amsterdam's canal ring - how it was built, how people lived and worked there across the centuries, and why UNESCO added it to the World Heritage List in 2010. The museum is housed in an authentic 17th-century canal house on the Herengracht.
