Sigmar Polke - The Knowledge of Colours
An exhibition of Sigmar Polke's radical colour experiments from the 1980s at De Pont Museum, exploring the beauty and material transformations in his work.
De Pont is a contemporary art museum in Tilburg, housed in a former wool-spinning mill dating from 1932. The vast industrial halls suit large-scale installations and paintings by international artists particularly well. The museum takes its name from Tilburg notary Jan de Pont, whose bequest made its founding in 1992 possible.
