About the venue

Batavialand in Lelystad is an open-air museum and heritage site focused on Dutch maritime history. Its centrepiece is a full-scale replica of the VOC ship Batavia, built on site and displayed outdoors. The complex also houses a museum on the reclamation of the Flevopolder and hosts changing exhibitions throughout the year.
