About the venue

The Grote Kerk in Alkmaar, formally known as the Sint-Laurenskerk, is a Gothic church built mainly in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. It houses a celebrated Schnitger organ, one of the finest historic organs in the Netherlands. The church regularly hosts classical concerts and organ recitals alongside its religious services.
