About: Annet Schaap

Author and illustrator Annet Schaap broke through with her 2017 debut Lampje, a prize-winning children's novel translated into 28 languages and adapted for screen by VPRO. Her follow-up Krekel (2025), set in the same fictional world, earned a Zilveren Griffel in 2026.
