de Bibliotheek LocHal, Tilburg

lecture culture active

Every last Tuesday of the month, Amnesty International hosts a writing evening at Bibliotheek LocHal. Anyone concerned about human rights can spend the evening writing letters for people who are unjustly imprisoned.

About the venue: de Bibliotheek LocHal

The LocHal is a former NS locomotive shed that was converted into a public library and cultural meeting place. The striking industrial building from the 1930s reopened in 2019 after an extensive renovation and was named Best Library in the Netherlands that same year. Alongside books and workspaces, it hosts lectures, exhibitions and other events.
