Spend time with your baby looking at a book and listening to stories - it's great for language development and simply enjoyable. At Bibliotheek LocHal, the library regularly organizes a play and reading session especially for the youngest children. The programme is suitable for babies from around 4 months old.

About the venue: de Bibliotheek LocHal

The LocHal is a former NS locomotive shed that was converted into a public library and cultural meeting place. The striking industrial building from the 1930s reopened in 2019 after an extensive renovation and was named Best Library in the Netherlands that same year. Alongside books and workspaces, it hosts lectures, exhibitions and other events.
