Every month the Silent Book Club gathers in the WoordLab at LocHal. Participants briefly discuss what they are reading and then spend an hour reading in silence together - simply beside each other, each with their own book.

About the venue: de Bibliotheek LocHal

The LocHal is a former NS locomotive shed that was converted into a public library and cultural meeting place. The striking industrial building from the 1930s reopened in 2019 after an extensive renovation and was named Best Library in the Netherlands that same year. Alongside books and workspaces, it hosts lectures, exhibitions and other events.
