In the Light of the Sands

For seven months, a bird warden lives alone on a sandbank in the North Sea, surrounded by birds, storms and silence. Nature sets the rhythm there, but gradually messages from the outside world seep through into that solitude. A poetic portrait of isolation against a backdrop of global unrest.
