Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys
Born in South Africa, Lucy Kruger has built a distinctive sonic world with her band in Berlin - somewhere at the intersection of art-pop, post-punk, ambient noise and dark folk. The band alternates whisper-quiet passages with overwhelming intensity, driven by Kruger's hypnotic voice and the group's intuitive interplay.
Live they have performed at Roadburn, Le Guess Who?, The Great Escape, Reeperbahn and SXSW. Media outlets including 3voor12, Clash Music and Brooklyn Vegan have written enthusiastically about them. In 2026 their seventh album, Pale Bloom, will be released.
'South African-born Kruger is the real deal, with enough attitude and drama for a few bands... She possesses a death stare that looks both through you and into your soul at the same time.' - Brooklyn Vegan
'It's like Americana for goths. Lucy makes eye contact with us and sings narrative songs. A spell. It is not until closing number "Burning building" that we are let go. Awesome.' - 3voor12
'It's a pleasure to watch Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys create such a claustrophobically liberating sound. Likewise, Lucy Kruger, as a personality on stage, goes far beyond the ordinary.' - MuziekBlog
'A perfect storm of posturing gothic art pop with a grungy, low-tempo backbone, spellbindingly dark and angsty, and flecked with violin lines that lent the songs a satisfyingly Venus In Furs-esque eeriness.' - Clash Music
Skate Bush
Skate Bush is the project of Lisa, a musician from Arnhem. With minimal means she creates raw, direct songs that move between lo-fi indie, post-punk and experimental folk. Distorted guitars, stuttering basslines and cheap organs surround a voice that sounds both direct and haunting. Think of the austerity of Young Marble Giants, the dreamy quality of Grouper and the idiosyncrasy of The Raincoats and Joanne Robertson.
