Lucy Kruger werd geboren in Zuid-Afrika, maar het is in Berlijn dat ze samen met haar band een eigen geluidswereld heeft opgebouwd - ergens op het snijvlak van art-pop, post-punk, ambient noise en donkere folk. De band wisselt fluisterstille passages af met allesoverheersende intensiteit, gedragen door Krugers hypnotiserende stem en het intuïtieve samenspel van de groep.

Live speelden ze op Roadburn, Le Guess Who?, The Great Escape, Reeperbahn en SXSW. Media als 3voor12, Clash Music en Brooklyn Vegan schreven lovend over hen. In 2026 verschijnt hun zevende album, Pale Bloom.

Skate Bush

Skate Bush is het project van Lisa, een muzikant uit Arnhem. Met weinig middelen maakt ze rauwe, directe songs die bewegen tussen lo-fi indie, post-punk en experimentele folk. Vervormde gitaren, stotterende baslijnen en goedkope orgels omringen een stem die zowel direct als beklemmend klinkt. Denk aan de soberheid van Young Marble Giants, de dromerige kwaliteit van Grouper en de eigenzinnigheid van The Raincoats en Joanne Robertson.
