Leids Cabaret Festival Finalists Tour

The finalists of the Leids Cabaret Festival are touring the country and bringing the final evening back to the stage - also at Walhalla in Rotterdam.

The Leids Cabaret Festival has existed since 1978 and is regarded as an important platform for emerging cabaret talent. Each year, eight participants compete for three prizes: the Gouden Geit (jury prize), the Podium Cadeaukaart Audience Prize and the Student Jury Prize. The festival's ambassador is comedian Jochem Myjer. Among the former finalists are names such as Najib Amhali, Paulien Cornelisse, Wim Helsen, Sanne Wallis de Vries, Sara Kroos, Tim Fransen, Lisa Ostermann, Kasper van der Laan and most recent winner Alina Sharipova.

Since 2023, the organization has been in the hands of the Leidse Schouwburg - Stadsgehoorzaal.
