Guido Spek - Voor Spek en Bonen

As a child, Guido had grand plans to conquer the world - but why hasn't he started after all these years? In his musical cabaret programme Voor Spek en Bonen, he examines his youthful optimism: where does his perfectionism come from, why does he take 'not taking himself seriously' so incredibly seriously, and what about that stubborn conviction that the best is yet to come?

The programme is filled with sharp songs and relatable stories about making choices, procrastination and the fear of finishing things. After its premiere in December 2025, Rotterdam-based Guido returns to Kantine Walhalla with this show. Note: TV recordings will take place.

Guido Spek is a cabaret artist, musician and actor. He appeared in various music theatre productions, including De Vloer Op, Wonderfull Town and Into The Woods, and has been touring since summer 2022 with CamperConcerts - a concert hall and comedy club on wheels. On television, he is known as Sjoerd Bouwhuis from Goede tijden, but he also appeared in The Passion, Hunted and Secret Duets, and participated in the final week of De Slimste Mens, Waku Waku and Expeditie Robinson.
