Luuk Weggemans - Lach Maar Om Mij

Luuk Weggemans (The Hague, 1997) didn't know a few years ago that he wanted to become a comedian. By now he has a well-stocked trophy cabinet, is a regular face of the satirical NTR programme 'De Fiksers', warms up audiences for LUBACH, and now takes the stage with his very first full-length pop-comedy show: Lach Maar Om Mij.

Weggemans graduated from the Koningstheateracademie in Den Bosch in 2022. He reached the finals of the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival and the Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival - at the latter he won both the jury and audience prizes. In 2024 he won the audience prize and the personality prize at Cameretten.

In Lach Maar Om Mij, Luuk introduces himself to the audience as honestly and vulnerably as possible - whatever that may mean. He combines sharp jokes with sung songs and goes far in doing so: jury and press were unanimously enthusiastic at Cameretten.
