Anuar - Ongeduldig Geduldig

In his show Ongeduldig Geduldig, Anuar poses a simple question: why have we become so impatient, and what would happen if we showed each other more patience? With humour and sharp observations, he holds up a mirror to the audience - and makes them laugh at their own shortcomings.

Anuar actively involves his audience in the performance, with his improvisational talent making each evening different. Theaterkrant wrote about his work: "Without a milligram of aggression, but with a self-awareness to be jealous of, Utrecht comedian Anuar lets all the fearful know that the Netherlands has definitely changed [...] The audience not only has a very cheerful evening, it also gets an interesting and educational insight into the life of a Moroccan Dutch person in a non-intrusive way. And that is pure gain."

Anuar has six full-length shows, numerous comedy performances and four Ramadan Conferences to his name - he is also the founder of the latter. He has also written several books. With Ongeduldig Geduldig, he returns to the theatre.
