Martijn Crins is developing a new show and testing the material in try-outs: experimenting, performing, improvising, playing around. Kooiapen.

What is it about? Martijn himself isn't entirely sure yet. Perhaps about how your own ego keeps tripping you up. Perhaps about feeling trapped when you thought you were free. Or about whether we should listen more to the ape - and about a crisis you'd wish on everyone anyway.

His previous show Hè Fijn was widely praised: Volkskrant gave four stars and called him "a major, distinctive talent for unleashing absurd fantasies onto everyday life." NRC wrote about "heightened absurdism", Theaterkrant saw "a potentially great comedian" and De Limburger (★★★★) described it as "a raw, sincere show".
