Ramon Chatrer brings his second cabaret programme 'VOLK' to Kleine Walhalla. The show received four-star reviews and was named 'Critics' Choice' by Theaterkrant. Following a sold-out preview at Walhalla in 2025, he now performs the full programme.

In 'VOLK', Chatrer explores growing up in a small Brabant village and life in the big city where he now lives. People are everywhere, yet he never quite fits in. This yields jokes, surprising stories and songs influenced by funk, soul and blues - performed on bass guitar and other instruments.

Chatrer won all prizes at the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival, reached the final of the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival and spent six months on NPO Radio 2 with a musical column hosted by Giel Beelen.

He weaves personal storytelling with bass guitar-driven songs rooted in funk, soul and blues, and previously won all prizes at the Groninger Studenten Cabaretfestival.
