Gavin Reijnders - Jazzebelle

In his second cabaret programme Jazzebelle, Gavin Reijnders tries to stay positive - though that proves harder than ever. The winner of 'Ik ga stuk!' opts not for a fiery manifesto, but for an evening full of show, jazz, self-mockery and old-fashioned glamour.

Together with jazz composer Nadine Rypkema, he transforms the theatre into a comedy-jazz bar, with music he describes as "somewhere between Hannah Montana and Chet Baker". Jazzebelle is an ode to nuance in a time that mostly shouts.
