Workshop Voguing - New Way
Ballroom is a cultural movement that emerged in 1970s New York, created by Black and Latino queer and trans people. This voguing workshop explores ballroom culture, focusing on Arms Control, a key element within the Voguing New Way category.
You'll learn the basic techniques of voguing and develop your own style and confidence, with attention to the history and energy of ballroom. For beginners, this is a great way to discover voguing and find your place within the community. More experienced participants have space to deepen their skills and refine their craft.
No experience needed: come as you are. Ballroom originated with queer and trans people of color, but everyone is welcome in the classes, regardless of background, experience, or level.
