Janneke de Bijl - Pluk Eventueel De Dag
Janneke de Bijl finds life, objectively speaking, to be a flawed concept. After all, you're trapped in a body heading toward oblivion - and as an atheist, she prefers to direct her suggestions for improvement at the audience.
In Pluk eventueel de dag (Seize the Day, Perhaps), she combines sharp stand-up with personal confessions and observations that hit home precisely because you'd never have phrased them that way yourself. Never crude, but unflinching.
Janneke de Bijl is a cabaret performer, writer and philosopher. She won Cameretten, is a member of Comedytrain and was named comedy talent of 2019 by the Volkskrant. Known for appearances in Arjen Lubach's show and columns like Druktemaker on NPO Radio 1. Recently, she's taken up law studies for relaxation.
