Limburgse Popprijs 2026

The Limburgse Popprijs is back: the annual awards ceremony celebrating the Limburg pop music sector. Winners are chosen in five categories: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Initiative, Young Professional, and The Promise. The Promise category winner receives a coveted opening slot at Pinkpop 2027.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live by L1, directly from Muziekgieterij in Maastricht. Visitors can cheer on the nominees live during this broadcast.

Before the awards ceremony, Zuidwaarts takes place - a networking conference for the Limburg music sector. Here you meet fellow professionals, musicians and cultural organisations from the region, participate in mentoring sessions and visit the musicians' market.
