Marie Koet - Eindspel

Marie Koet, named by the Volkskrant as the comedy talent of 2026, takes the stage with her debut show Eindspel. With disarming honesty, philosophical sharpness and plenty of self-mockery, she invites the audience into her attempts to stay one step ahead of life. Given the geopolitical climate, this could well be her last show.

Audience reactions vary: "I laughed until I cried during your performance" to "I'm a psychologist and here's my business card, I can help you, please come by." Raoul Heertje, who also directs, says: "The moment Marie appears on stage, you feel it: something special is happening here." Theo Maassen: "She has the ability to make something deeply personal very funny. You immediately love her." And Samuel Beckett writes about the ending: "The end is already in the beginning, and yet you go on."

Marie Koet was also tipped by the Volkskrant as one of the comedy talents of 2024 and 2025, and has been associated with Comedyclub Haug since 2022. The same newspaper described her as "an odd bird with sharp material"; Trouw called her "a queen of self-mockery". Outside the stage, she wrote texts for De Speld and the satirical TV programme Plakshot.
