David Linszen - Striptease van de Dood

David Linszen won multiple awards at the Leids Cabaret Festival, directed two productions by Daniël Arends, and is a regular contributor to Comedytrain. The Volkskrant named him Comedy Talent of the Year; NRC called him a Rising Star of Cabaret. Now he brings his debut cabaret show to Kantine Walhalla: 'Striptease van de Dood'.

Not a heavy debut, but a musical comedy show at full speed - from someone who sets aside his personal problems to keep the audience laughing for a hundred minutes. Direction by Raoul Heertje.

What the press thought: Trouw gave five stars and praised how confidently Linszen couples comic absurdism with his own reality. The Volkskrant (four stars) called it "edge-of-your-seat comedy with rare originality" and a talent that overwhelms. NRC (four stars) described the show as absurd, comic and moving, with an expressive Linszen who darts feverishly from one unrecognizable story to the next.
