Johan Goossens - Het Volle Leven
In 'Het Volle Leven', Johan Goossens recounts the worlds he has found himself in recently: a course in alternative therapy, hectolitres of star anise mix, and a board position that quickly feels strange to him. With a businesslike tone, he makes points at meetings; at night, he sends passive-aggressive emails starting with "I was surprised that..." - yet he still feels the urge to crawl under the covers.
The show combines beautiful songs, embarrassing jokes, and stories from everyday life. Earlier, the press wrote: "A sharp eye for everyday fumbling" (NRC), "Johan Goossens skilfully plays with cynicism and sincerity" (Trouw), and "Processing something sad in a clumsy joke is a rewarding way to deal with difficult feelings in his cabaret" (de Volkskrant).
