Remko Vrijdag - Marko Maandag (try-out)

Remko Vrijdag takes the stage alone with his second solo programme, Marko Maandag. He brings new stories, songs and satirical sketches - including one featuring a former prime minister who keeps haunting him. This performance is a try-out of the show.

His debut, Vrijdag, Doemsdag, was very well received in 2024: NRC gave five stars, de Volkskrant four, and the show was nominated for a Poelifinario, the Netherlands' most prestigious cabaret award. In Marko Maandag, Vrijdag finally answers the question: who is the real Marko Maandag?

Vrijdag became known as a member of the cabaret trio De Vliegende Panters and later created three shows with Martine Sandifort as the duo Vrijdag & Sandifort. Beyond theatre, he regularly appears in Dutch films and television series.
