Nosotros - Maria Robles and Hernán Lucero
Nosotros - Two Souths, One Song is an intimate music theatre performance where flamenco and Argentine tango meet in a story about love. Maria Robles and Hernán Lucero play two lovers who meet, lose each other, and find their way back. Guitarist Álvaro Rovira bridges the music between Seville and Buenos Aires. Passion, longing, humour and tenderness run through the performance.
Maria Robles (vocals & flamenco dance) is a flamenco singer and dancer from Seville, based in the Netherlands for over thirty years. She studied at the Conservatorio de Sevilla and also trained at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
Hernán Lucero (vocals & guitar) is a singer, composer and guitarist from Argentina. Through tango, he explores Argentine folk, rock and other popular music.
Álvaro Rovira (guitar) provides the refined musical connection between flamenco and tango.
