The Swiss avant-garde orchestra Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp (OTPMD) defies easy categorization: their music ranges from introspective pop and free jazz through danceable, ecstatic outbursts to Afrofunk and post-punk.

The fourteen-member ensemble is led by double bassist and composer Vincent Bertholet. On their sixth album Ventre Unique - released on the Bongo Joe label - strings, guitars, horns, bongos and marimbas move together across a broad spectrum: from minimalist groove and krautrock to Fela Kuti-like sonic eruptions.
